Target Beneficiaries
The project supported New Scots (Syrian refugees) , afghans and the Ukrainian to less extent as they started arriving to Aberdeen from April 2022.
The project is part of Connecting Scotland, supporting everyone in Scotland to get online. It is also part funded by the EU Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund, making management of migration flows more efficient across the European Union.This project focused on the below three key themes: Digital access to infrastructure and kit; Digital access in terms of affordability; Digital confidence in terms of developing skills and opportunities. The project was completed despite the need for extended offerings due to fund issues and time line restrictions
